will.f11 24
Ive decided to start doing a bit of ferret racing for the people of the village. I thought it would be good fun and also am going to do it fr charity. I will try and start on the tunnels tomorrow but I will put some signs up around the place when ready. I only have a couple ferrets at the moment and wont be able to use the kits for a while but I will borrow off friends. I will keep you posted Quote Link to post

sue 1
ive done a fair bit of ferret racing for different charities ,your best bet is to have 3 tubes and each ferret has a different coloured collar on a bit of felt does the job and get about 60 pieces of card ,20 of each of the 3 colours .and sell them at 50p each and the winners win a quid .cheap betting but gets the money in Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
cheers. A child in the village has gone into hospital with serious meningitis so we wanted to give a bit to help the family out. Does anyone know about betting laws ifit is giving to a charity? It will only be like 50p so not much Quote Link to post

I will paint them and put wire sections so the audiense can see the fert. and some up and down bits. I suppose the more tubes the better because then you get less winners. Quote Link to post

sue 1
just make sure if you let the public stroke the ferrets that the ferrets dont get restless and nip ,they do get fed up , and it doesnt look good . Quote Link to post
