scothunter 12,609
well i love the movie mate The biggest load of made up rubbish i have ever seen.Typical of mel gibson and his Anti English movies. On a lighter note let me tell you the funniest thing i have seen in ages. Was down in Manchester for the Rangers game it all kicked off and i swear i had to double take. There was this lad running down the road towards the battle lines the cops had drew.Swear to god he was draped in a union flag shouting "FREEDOM"! Not the sharpest knife in the drawer ,but pretty amusing. Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
No protection in a bag Quote Link to post
will.f11 24
I agree, nothing wrong witha good old box. My grandad said he used to put a ferret in his pocket and a few nets in the other. A lot more complicated nowadays. He also said that his father would put it down his trouser leg and tie the bottom! You'd have to trust your ferret Quote Link to post
The one 8,457
Aye there no protection for the ferrets in a bag and with a box you can keep your backside off the damp grass Quote Link to post
Malt 379
We used to take ours in an old hessian bag when me & my dad used to go out. I can't recall the ferrets ever being to bothered, they used to curl up & go to sleep. I use a box these days though. Quote Link to post
pritch 335
have to agree a box is best but if your going where you shouldn't & don't want to bring attention to yourself a ferret in a bag & a few nets discreetly placed about yourself & nobody's the wiser, everyone used bags when we were kids now u cant go without a box, locator, longnet & 100 purse nets oh & a spade sometimes i think it is best half a dozen nets & a ferret ATB Pritch Quote Link to post
the fezz 44
when i first started i used a old pillow case with some bail string to tie the top , game bag full of nets and a knife in my pocket, and of to go ...................ahhh the good old days Edited June 22, 2008 by the fezz Quote Link to post
