celticwar 1 Posted June 21, 2008 Report Share Posted June 21, 2008 well ive had bad week, not had much hunting .. so yesterday went out with s10 late on walked the farm yard went in the barns nothing walked round under the trees in the wood few pigeons took off. thought bugger have had stress full week .. so was angry with my self ... any way carried on round to field rabbit sat there 25 yards aimed was all over the place i just could not get my breathing .. fired missed .. any way im now stressed big style .. but kept with it went right up the fields came to a spot i no the wabbits hang out crept up they all legged it but one young one sat down in the position ft style .. aimed bang down he went 40 yards he twitched a bit so nailed him again through the back chest area . stayed there 15 20 mins pigeon lands 35 yards aimed fired missed , it flew off any way im now giving up so decide to make my way home half way to car its getting dark i can see but im finding it hard look through scope i can still see .lol x50 optics great ... any way walking along i see some movement look through scope its a rabbit 25 yards in front of me it freezes stands up to try see me ive got wabbit number1 in my hand so lift gun swing my arm infront of me rest gun on my arm aim bang down he goes got him in the head . hes a bleeder so left him few mins picked him up made for car so ended shoot with 2 clean kills felt de stressed ... left them near fire for farmer to see im doing what i promised .....
