BOMB PROOF FERRET HUTCH

Recommended Posts

some of you may already know, that my ferret court is an old world war 2, anderson shelter, modified slightly of course, well I needed some more cage space, as my breeding cages are full of kitts, so started looking at building a cage, mainly for kitts,

wanted to keep it matching, so luckerly, a nieghbour had an old anderson shelter, ready dismantled rotting away at the back of his garden, I got two sheets off him, cut the rotted bottom off, and built "ferretvile"

well happy with the finished huch, 3 floors connected with tubes, 2 sleeping boxes at the bottom, so as to stay cool in the summer

total cost £80 for timber, ply sheet, locks and hinges
