SEAN3513 7 Posted June 21, 2008 Report Share Posted June 21, 2008 make sure your scope is mounted correctly and firm. then start with setting your scope up at 10 yds. once you have set the left to right zero....you will NOT need to alter this for any other distance. relax......steady your breathing....don't hold the gun tightly......this will exaggerate recoil. squeeze dont pull the trigger....it may take you a few shots to get used to it....once you are consistantly hitting the same spot.........then adjust your up/down zero..........then when confident move the target out to 30 yds............and re adjust you up/down zero again (or to suit your preffered zero range.......remember you will NOT need to adjust you left/right). once you are hitting the same area consistantly...........you will be confident enough to take you rifle out into the field. cheers sean Quote Link to post

deadeyedick 0 Posted June 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2008 thanks for replies lads. yeh i know how to set the scope up the guy iun the shop explained it all and ive set up / down / left / right on scope at bout 15 yards? but still i still cant get it in same place it must be my shooting combined with the recoil. no worries ill get it sorted. whats your opinions on my gun ive got ? edgar brothers model 60 ? i dont think its that powerfull personally but ive read that its a good gun for the price supposed top have 10lbs of force??? if thats right ? 10 something anyway. the legal limit is 12 aint it ? yeh.
