He would have some breeding from England that would decent bred hare dogs. Bear in mind that ALL the top fen type hare dogs are heavy saluki blooded, not because the guys like salukis but because it's the salukis that do the winning were it counts. The P Hammel dog is bred out of Captain (gazzaxspindles) to a lurcher bitch, Edited to add it was Joe Joice who bred them out of a coursing greyhound Bolio.
