hello - any advice

alright ,

 

just thought id introduce my self ,

 

im from north east

 

dont really know too much about hunting ect wanting to get into it more now i have some time

got a saluki whippet (VAL) she is 13 months old had her from 10 weeks but never had a chance to get

her out really had her out watching other dogs ect when she was a pup upto about 6/7 months but

got a new job (N), just wanting to know if there is any chance for her really, if i can get her running

still kept her as fit as my job allows have her on the beach when i can and just out and about with me

 

she is about 21/22 inch black looks a lot more like a whippet , with saluki steam tugs (ears) and tail . nice slim frame

 

 

any advice ,

Very Nice. Looks shiny and useful. And if with you all the time she is well socialized too...

Take your time, get her exercise and as obedient as the two of you can get together. I dare to bet that she has the prey drive and it will only take 1 or 2 easy kills before she is tuned on. Big chance that within 15 posts from now you'll put the first pic of a kill up. The whippet longdogs I know are vicious killers of everything and pretty good at coming back.

 

If I were you I would be looking for rabbits with a lamp or "stray"chickens...make the first kills as easy as possible to prevent opening up...

thanks a lot only prob i really have is tha she is nervous of men , more of deeps voices out a can do about tha ,

 

she had a corse at about 11 months , was a rabbit squatted dead centre of a field n she was just moochin about n the rabbit poped up and she was away biggest buzz of my life all over the field . but the rabbit shot under the fence and away it was . i know if she got hold of tha rabbit there she would be away with it now like

 

ha ha also remember [bANNED TEXT] i was dwn me altoment one day i had some show rabbits i was cleanin out turned round n she is flinging one about the garden lol .
