cbw 4
I am unable to make a comparison, I am using an ase utra which I find really good, and am very pleased with, it is quiet, slim and looks good on the rifle! However it is not easy to clean, it gets a bit noisy after about 750 rounds. Clean it really well(1/2 hour) and its right as rain. I fancy trying another moderator just to see??????? James. grayswood 0
I'm using a Parker Hale and havn't cleaned it through yet. What's the recommended number of rounds to put through before needing to clean? Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Had a Parker Hale many moons back but I have to say I think the SAK edges it. Rimmy ammo is filthy and to get the best out of your moderator you should clean it on a "regular" basis. However...it must be said, that probably, the main grief caused by dirty rimmy mods is crud falling back into the barrel rather than much reduction in sound suppression! Like all things shooting though...look after your tools and they will look after you! Quote Link to post
