mattydski 560
The only law affecting shoting from a vehicle are when shooting deer. The Deer (firearms, etc) (scotland) Order 1985 and principally Deer (Scotland ) act 1995 Section 20. It is illegal to discharge a firearm or any missile at a deer from a moving vehicle. Rabbits will be fine Matt Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
The only law affecting shoting from a vehicle are when shooting deer. The Deer (firearms, etc) (scotland) Order 1985 and principally Deer (Scotland ) act 1995 Section 20. It is illegal to discharge a firearm or any missile at a deer from a moving vehicle. Rabbits will be fine Matt The Deer Act Amendment in England & Wales last year saw changes to this as well. Put simply you can now shoot a deer from your vehicle but it must be stationary! (the vehicle..not the deer, but it would help if both were stationary) Seeing as not too many ferrets get to sample deer I don't suspect you have a problem!! Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
haha quite true deker , the ferrets will be sticking to the rabbit liam Quote Link to post
dytkos 17,783
Define " MOVING" Whose gonna know if your stationary or not if you're on permission? Quote Link to post

comanche 2,917
I believe the way things are worded it is OK to shoot within 50feet of the centre of the highway (which includes footpaths) provided no one using the Highway is endangered or has their progress interupted. Other words if you are sensible and are aware of road users and you and your projectile stay on land you have permission to be on you can stand right up to the edge of the public road .You can also shoot from a footpath that crosses "your" land if no one is near enough to be put at risk or due to any reason(including I'd imagine fear ) caused to wait while you take your shot. Geoff.C 0
Shooting from your car on your permission? No problem at all, but fold the door mirrors out the way!! Quote Link to post
markbivvy 6
i am sure you cant shoot birds from a motor. but cant be bothered to look it up right now. Quote Link to post
JOE BLOCKY 0
as long you are on private land with the correct paperwork you could shoot your car up if you wanted too! Quote Link to post
