seen a bit about german hunt terriers on a post there,i have read about these dogs before heard they were good not that pupluor over here.anyone use them on here.

I'm new in here and new to the game as well.

i'm initiating with a jagd terrier/deustcher hunting terrier, he has 6 months.

 

Although he is already ratting big rats and trails nice some wounded birds.

 

 

i have the help of the breeder, he uses this breed to hunt wild boars. He only hunts with this breed. He uses imported dog's from germany, Tcheck, Croatian.

 

 

now we are building an artificial "den" (i don't know how you call it, quarry?) to initiate young prospects.

 

i have discovered this forum in a web search and proud to say that i've learn alot with you guys.

 

in my country there are no terrierman, at least i didn't discover anyone unless the breeder of my dog.

 

The working breeds available in my country are: fox terrier, jagd terrier or deustch hunting terrier, jack russel (short legg), some dastchund, the portuguese small podengo and their crosses.

 

hoping that in the mean time, i can travel to the origin of terriers and bring some lakeland/fell terrier blood that i like so much.
