scothunter 12,609
Just went out to lock up the ferts for the night. My jill with the kits was lying flat out in the eating area of her hutch. She often lies there to get a break from the kits, anyway i always give a whistle and she responds. Not a thing tonight/OPened up the hutch and gave her a wee nudge NOTHING! I was like oh no she has died!I was sweating like a jew on a freight train. However she jumped up after a bit and was back to normal.I was a gratefull lad let me tell you.I would have no idea how to rear 14 month old kits I guess ferts go into deep sleeps as do humans lol Quote Link to post

Rhodey 96
I used to use the deep sleep trick when I don't want to talk to the other half. Can't pretend to be asleep when they kick you in the back. Quote Link to post
