Could be osteodystrophy

copied from a site

Osteodystrophy is also known as brittle bones. This disease was more common in the past, when ferrets were fed diets low in calcium.

Young ferrets (usually around 6-12 weeks old) with osteodystrophy moved more like seals with their front legs pointing out to the side. Because the bones in their legs and spines are deformed and soft, they never completely recover.

To avoid this, please make sure you give your ferret a balanced diet so that it gets all the necessary nutrients to keep it strong and healthy.

i was thinking this caused by too much meat and not enough bones

How i understood it was its muscle rich meat , but i cant find the peice of info that explained it better , it did say about giving whole carcass rather than real lean meat

she had 11 and only ended up with 4 after the first day

here is a video i just took , look at about 30 seconds in and you will she what i mean compaired to the albino's

yes kay seems ok , still feeding but just walking funny .

Looks like he's just having a bit of trouble moving from crawling to walking... i have a litter of 7 week olds that are doing a bit of this, though fewer and fewer each day... I was REALLY worried at first .. cause they dont seem to actually be STANDING on the back legs much.. But slowly each day one or two more will start hobbling along better and stronger.. we've only 3-4 now that are still crawling...

Maybe give him a bit longer to steady himself up... and if he's still havin some trouble..find him a pet home instead.. Pet owners are suckers for "special " ferrets lol

Hey they're lil bodies are still developing.. in the wild, perhaps it would be the weak link.. but in your back garden he might catch up just fine and end up being a Great lil worker for you!

Try getting it to move on some concrete rather than grass & video that as well, the legs arnt sticking out to the side like i have seen in kits with osteodystrophy , but it seems to be hopping

I wouldnt give up on it just yet
