Malt 379
Robert Recorde was born in here in Tenby. You all know who he is, right? He invented the = sign! Robert Recorde at Wikipedia & I'm originally from a town called Pembroke, about 10 miles away. Henry VII was born in the castle there, and later on, during the civil war, Oliver Cromwell himself came to oversee the siege of the castle, because it could not be breached. They only managed to get the castle to surrender when they found the secret conduit pipe that was bringing fresh water in, and cut it off. When they finally surrendered, Cromwell ordered the main gates blown apart, because he was p*ssed off that he couldn't take the castle by force.
