Guest traceyg
At last after the turning of my 390 pheasant eggs they are hatching. Don’t know how many I am going to end up with but at the moment i am quite impressed as there are lots today .I have 12 outside under a broody hen, but all the rest are in the incubators, the pheasants will then go to a private shoot in York .We are hoping to get 300 chicks off so this will give us two guns on the shoot in October here are a few pics I will keep adding more as we will be keeping the chicks for 6 weeks

Rolfe 2
Must be fantastic to see the result of all your hard work Tracey......so now you know what you are in for next season. I hope you get a good hatching percentage from the eggs and that they all survive into healthy poults....BUT........you must resist helping the wee little things out of their shells..........they can manage quite well on their own. Take Care Rolfe.
