HI LADS AND GALS...MY DADS GOT A 7 MONTH OLD BULL GREY X WHIPPIT HES HAD IT FROM 6 MONTHS AS THE GUY WHO HAD IT FIRST WAS A PRICK AND JUST LEFT IT IN THE GARDEN ALL THE TIME..

THE DOG JUST WANTS TO NAIL EVERYTHING.NOT BITE HARD BUT IT CAN NOT PASS OR SEE ANOTHER DOG WITHOUT GRABBING IT ROUND ITS NECK AND TRYING TO PIN IT DOWN...AS YOU CAN IMAGEN ITS EMBARRASSING WHEN THIS HAPPENS.. Very nice bitch mate i don't think shock collar is the way to go with her i think you just gotta give her time.

Maybe use her on the long rope system show her your the boss and when you say no it means no

Your problem probably lies in the fact that the dog spent the first six months of its life stuck in a garden with no socialisation or interaction during such an vital period in its life. If it were mine I'd get down the local dog club and get it used to basic obedience, you may know all the basics but its about socialising the dog and mixing it with other dogs and people. Traning the dog at home is great but at the club the dog will improve in manners and confidence and the distractions faced at the club will cement your obedience.

have you watched the dog whisper ch 11 on free view its on at six most nights , ceaser millan is the dogs rollox :notworthy: when dealing with dogs with aggressive traits turns em around real quick his book is also a good read. all the best :D

Stay away from SHOCK COLLARS,,,I tried this with a pure bred English bull terrier, and it went absolutely crazy(which is completely natural considering its getting an electric shock through its neck) hope ya find a soloution to the problem

WOULD THIS LONG ROPE THING WORK GUYS IM THINKING A RELAY LONG ROPE LET IT APPROACH DOGS AND IF IT TRIES TO NAIL IT PULL IT BACK AND SHOUT NO AFTER A WHILE IT SHOULD GET THE JIST...

DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT?

It worked for my dog mate and i got the idea off a very good dog trainer give it a try what you got to lose

Don't use an electric collar for this - the problem is the dog is likely to associate the zap with the dog it's pinning and may become more aggressive as a result.

My dog used to be similar - he hadn't been socialised much at all and was 2 by the time I got him. It took a few months of introducing him to various breeds of dogs in a varitey of situations for him to get more steady. The other thing that helped was working on his bond with me - the more confident and trusting he got with me, the better he behaved with other dogs. It took a while for him to realise he didn't have to be responsible for everything and that I'd deal with it.

No bull in my dog at all by the way.

cracking looking bitch............................. basic obedience and socializing should help..............she clearly has got alot of prey drive, and this is a good thing if shes destined for a working life........................ she just need to learn what and not what to srew into the ground!

Electeric collar could knull this prey drive, if she thinks she gonna get zapped everytime she pinns something

What a cracking looking bitch. I had a plummer terrier a few years back that would do the same as your bitch, nasty little sod it was and very cocky. Untill it seen mister red and came back out probably as fast as your bitch can run. I cant offer much help but as whats been said above sociallising or lack of it as a pup is guaranteed to be the cause. Good luck with her she's a real smart type.
