bitch of a neighbour.

Recommended Posts

I have a new neighbour moved in before xmas.Never had a prob with any of my neighbours in all the years i have lived here.Anyway today she calls over the fence to me.She has a JRT which incidentally is my least fav dog.Since the kits have arrived this f*****g pot licker has been going crazy barking and generally just going mental. She says i think there may be a rat in that hedge i said there would be no chance of that and explained it would be the kits her dog can hear. The look on her face when i mentioned ferrets was priceless.Oh you cant keep ferrets here she said, they can escape and attack children.I didnt even attempt to explain to her that she was talking shit,I told her i have lived here for nigh on 15yrs and i have no intention of getting rid of my ferrets. In fact im going to keep the whole 14kits (im not,but she dont know that).I left her with her telling me she was calling the enviromental health.I was f*****g raging i spend a lot of time on my garden and my ferrerts are cleaned out everyday religiously. Then i get this lunatic causing me unesesary hassle.I will catch her silly little dog in a snare and feed it to my kits if she aint carefull. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

It really annoys me kay, when someone who just moves into an area then starts throwing around unfounded rubbish.I realise now how the country people get pissed off with townies. She really does'nt want to start a feud with me i dont react well in these kind of situations :icon_eek:

All you can do is make sure you dont give her any reason to call anyone, its difficult if you have a lot off ferrets , but all i did here was made sure they were kept clean & that way you lesen any posible smells especially in summer , if she is going to cribb to environmental health she will have to have a reason , so all you can do is basically what your doing & please keep your cool that will piss her of big time if you dont react , then she is made to look like a trouble maker

Council have rules what you can keep in there property mate usaully if your keeping them clean well fed ect they will ignore you ,unless somebody moans .I dont know what the numbers are but ive heard its one dog and they have forced folk to reduce there dogs down to one ,Christ knows what the rule is about ferrets

Just tell her bollocks, and if she don't like it start gutting everything you catch in your back garden and make sure she's watching. Failing that you could always start a satanic cult in the back garden and sacrafice some goats she wouldn't be living there long.

Id have a chat with as many other neighbours first, ask them if they have a problem with your ferts/hunting etc, and if, they'd sign a letter to that effect, also ask if they can hear your neighbours JRT yapping, and if that bothers them at all,

then if she ever says again, you can throw the results of your enquires into the conversation, or have all the letters to hand, should an offical call

maybe put a higher fence up,

or starting now, weather she's taking it further or not, start phoning council up, complaining about her yapping dog :hmm:

where we live, there's one rear neighbour that COULD complain about us, as we have ferret city at bottom of garden, plus the chickens, we made sure, very early on, to get ALL THE OTHER NEIGHBOURS, on our side, constantly give them fresh eggs and/or rabbit etc, educate their kids on ferrets too,

good luck, if all else fails kill the dog :whistling:

I hate yapping dogs, I have a border myself but she never makes any noise - She isn't allowed to. She will happily sit outside in the garden chilling, whilst others seem to think that everyone around wants to hear how much noise there dogs can make. Good luck with it mate, sounds like exactly the wrong sort of person to have a JRT.

I keep russells and I HATE yappy ones too (errrrmm I have to admit that I do have one that goes on for no reason at all :wallbash: but the rest of mine are wonderful) So not ALL of them are bad (just the vast majority  )
