ChrisJones 7,975
doh! for some reason my reply has ended up in the middle of the qoute. No worries, it's fixed. firstly i understand trajectory and safety all to welli shoot long bow with a local archery club, i could do more damege with a bow than you can with an air rifle, i also shoot time to time a bow tech stryker crossbow, so as i said i am all to aware of safety, i personally feel insulted that you should think i would just go out and buy a gun and start shooting if that were the case i would not of come on here and asked for advice, i am 40 so please credit it me with some savvy, Sean certainly wouldn't make an assumption like that. He's a very knowledgeable board regular. If we had a quid for everyone that came on with a rifle query we wouldn't have to work any more, apart from here. Because of the sheer volume of requests, on here, sometimes you'll get what appears to be a standardised response. It's not intentional and if you hang around for a bit I'm sure you'll get a feel for the place. No one makes the assumption that you don't know shit... It's just that if we had a quid for every post I deleted, where someone wants to just go out and buy a gun and start shooting, not only would I be able to jack in work I'd be able to treat everyone here to a round of drinks and a new Bentley. If you think we've got the wrong end of the stick then let us know a bit more about you. We don't bite and you might find that you actually like us. Quote Link to post
