woodga 170
well we had been out to inspect the squirrel cages. and had also been asked to thin some rabbits down as they had been digging holes all over the lush lawns and eating the plants i took the terriers to push some to ground and to mark up it was a hot day so they regularly had a dip in a nearby trough to keep them cool we managed ten when i called a halt due to the ecessive heat and they way these dogs hunt at full steam the conditions were not what they needed any how i took a few pictures of this unusuall call out hope you enjoy god i cant wait till sept now ferreting a compost heap all leaves and grass cuttings  first customers into the nets at this point we had an audience of about six old times cheering us on :laughbounce2: we managed four out of there. then did a big sett under some old tree swith about 20 plus holes i only had one ferret with me an he did well managing to push out six and i never had to use the spade once final picture of the rabbits and the old folks home in the back ground made a nice change : :clapping: Quote Link to post
