dogs on steroids

Recommended Posts

canadian ice hockey players use clenbuterol for more lung capacity , its an anaerobic steroid used by asthma sufferers , its also used by bodybuilders in their cutting up cycles

In-correct...Clenbuterol is NOT a steroid...it IS used buy bodybuilders, but NOT for the reasons you describe...it would be of little use in animals...its used to slightly raise the core temperature of the subject, thus causeing a more thermogenic state in the body, so fat loss is more easily obtained...its kind of like and ECA stack (Ephedra, Caffine, Asprin)..

A steroid that is popular with endurance athletes and horse/dog trainers is Equipoise (E.Q)...it increases the red blood cells, and aids in the oxygenation of blood, as well as having Anabolic effects.

b12 is an appitite enhancer and clenbuterol isn,t a steriod but it helps retain muscle while losing body fat . It ,s main purpose in medical situations is to aid asthma sufferers.

Vit B12 is used to help a body regulate itself whilst recovering from illness etc.

It helps hormones etc. stabilize.

Injected into terriers to make them keener is a new one to me. Believe me there's nothing that comes in a bottle or syringe can make an animal do what it doesn't want to do.

The anti's would love that, "the drug crazed, steroid injected terriers."

As Don Mayfield said "I was the first to use steroids and the first to stop."

Steriods in sport/Running dog. I always like to look at the Ethiopian and Kenya distance runners, The only FAT and MUSCLE they carry is on their legs. This is like a coursing dog in human terms. To train they just run and build stamina. They can maintain a good level of running for good periods. If a dog is too muscled they lose the graceful running movement/agility.
