thats not a frist cross it has bull in that some were this is a first cross

salukis have good feet....and a lot of stamina....some people find the pure salukis a lot harder to come on and need to be patient with em.....first crosses and other crosses with saluki in them arnt just saluki so they seem to come on a bit quicker.....some people say salukis arnt intelligent....i dont think so i think they are clever dogs you watch some of the top salukis this country has had they are mostly pure salukis and were brilliant at what they did......probly not out and out rabbit killers.....but out and out hare killers

Agree totally with Mackem, NEVER had a serious foot injury with these 2 (the bully x has superb feet) and the only failing they have with their trainning are MY failings as an owner/trainer.......

 

They run on any ground..........hard, soft, frozen, snow.........all the same to them.

a few of my mates, have saluki crosses ad they r really good dogs!

I wouldnt have a dog without saluki blood in it. Infact saluki, greyhound and whippet are really the only breeds i want in my dogs anything else that is there is incidental and certainly not by my design.

this is my first cross saluki/grey, endless stamina, bit headstrong, very high prey drive piont him in

the right direction and hes off!

theres good and bad in every cross,mark but if it wasnt open land like the fens people wouldnt saturate there dogs as much with saluki,mark

hob__ferrets 1st cross saluki greyhound ( cream dog ) , alongside my saluki greyhound x collie greyhound ( white dog)

 

like both your dogs h.hunter,, but a wee question do you never get bother with them dew claws,,dogs round my way r the first things removed..???when pups..
