colours

my jill hed eleven kits, three silver and eight polecats. one of the silver kits has one black back leg and a really dark stripe on her back, is this quite common as iv never had one like it befor. will get a picture of her up tomorrow.

my very first litter i ever had was mixed just like yours,one of the polecats had a perfect stripe from the tip of his nose to almost the back of his head and being a very dark hobb it really stood out,you never know what nature is going to throw up :clapper:

we have got a real mixed lot this year, the jill is sandy and the hob a poly, the three silver kits are all quite pacthy and a couple of the poly kits have got white socks and bibs with white blobs on there bellys, they are so cute i would love to keep them all this year but id be over run. gonna just hold back a couple for my own stock. il be holding onto the silver and black kit as the missis has fallen head over hills in love with it.

they are just over four weeks now.

If you have a good look at the poleys with the white feet there eyes should be ruby red not black

i kept my one with the stripe and called him flash ,he was a steady worker nothing special but a great caracture

If you have a good look at the poleys with the white feet there eyes should be ruby red not black

eyes not open yet kay, is that from the albino in there past?

Not sure to be honest but what ever the overall colour weather its silver sandy or poley they tend to have the red eyes that you can see in certain lights , they all have the white on them somewhere, either feet toes top of the head or insides off the knees

Aint a poley with white feet and bib classed as a silver mitt ???
