BUSHNELL RED / GREEN DOT

I thinking getting this red / green dot sight, it also has options for a cross heir and different dot sizes....(not a typical cheapy crap) red dots have came along way, used a lot in by the old bill (mainly us swat teams) and the isreal army use them on they new service weapon, in fact on the future weapons show, the guy managed a head shot on a tin hat man target at 150 yards. So i am thinking would it be good for hunting up to 100 yards?? has anyone used these the bushnell red green dot?

i had one and hated it because when aiming at rabbits there completly covered by the dot even when its fully turned down and you cant see were your aiming properly
