nick barker 0
My daughter managed to pursuade me to spend the afternoon at our local animal sanctury's open day. Not my normal cup of tea. The sanctury seemed to be full of lurchers and staffs as normal. Always find the depressing places. As we walked round the corner from the kennels there was a row of what looked like avaries. As I peered in, I was greeted by a pair of bright pink eyes now I have kept ferrets since I was 12years old, I am now 47, but I have never seen anything quite like that it looked more like a haf grown otter, I kid you not he was bloody huge. Apparently found walking down the hight street in Watton. I just wondered what the biggest hob any of you lads have ever seen is. Some pics would be nice. Quote Link to post

Guest jojoamojo
the biggest one i had weighed 3.5 kg, he was a beast, with paws like a dog, he is just an old buggar now he was from a rescue and they did all sorts of tests on him to see why he was so big, but nothing came through, he is just massive about the size of a cat Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
i hes a big fecker that one , i was a little worried about my hob as he is very shy he is never out so when it comes to feeding time all the other ferrets are chowin down and hes in bed so ive got cameras from work to install in the court liam Quote Link to post

Lilyferret 0
He looks like quite a big lad Richie. Do you know how long he is from nose to tail tip? Only ever had 3 hobs, and all of them seem to have been around the 24 inch mark. Mind, I can't remember when I last measured the two youngest. Long time ago, so it might have been before they finished growing. Might have another try later just out of curiosity. This is one of them next to an average size jill.
