spookster 0
The last two nights, starting about 2am, there has been a fox/dog crying and barking, it goes on for hours. It sounds a bit like my puppy when I put him in his pen so I can eat in peace. Was wondering if anyone would know if it could be cubs calling for their mother. My concern is something has happened to her. Would fox cubs do that? or would they just sit quietly waiting for the vixon to return? My garden backs into the woods and it was too dark to find the animal last night. it is quiet all day so that is what makes me think it is a fox instead of dog? Just thopught I would check woudln't want the cubs to starve to death if is fox cubs making the noise. I have lived here for 7 yres and not heard anything like it before, so it is not the normal fox behaviour.
