FOXHUNTER 5,021
Ive got a Tikka T3 mate and love it . Accurate rifle mines in .243 and has a T8 fitted , very good moderator just makes the rifle unbalanced when carrying it. My mate also has a Tikka T3 with an S5 mod fitted which is a lot shorter and just screws on the end rather than over the barrel. Both great mods though ! I use either 58 grn v-max or 100 grain Winchester ammo , both shooting well !! Quote Link to post

Night Hunter 109
Ive just bought a Tikka T3 hunter in 22-250rem and looked at about 10 different sound mods ,i had a T8 on my old remington 22-250rem but was not that struck on the quality but after a very lengthy discussion with the gunsmith on the pros and cons of the different mods i opted to buy another T8 as they have changed one or two things design wise and the new one is a wee bit shorter and it has a bit more thickness where they used to split at the spot welds and it seems not to "ring" like the old model BUT REMEMBER TO REMOVE YOUR T8 WHEN NOT IN USE AND USE WD40 INSDE THE MOD AS THIS WIILL PREVENT CORROSION OF BOTH YOUR BARREL AND YOUR MOD Quote Link to post
Guest jarvey
so t8 a good idea? its about 200 quid if im right. im prepared to pay the money if it delivers so i might go for it. would people recommend soft or hollow point. dont want to make too much of a mess of the quarry but i want to kill first shot everytime. wouldnt want them crawling away to die. will softpoint still do the job with body and neck shots? cheers lads, sound advice Quote Link to post
