going to keep the jill and onekit for myself the rest are going for a minimal ammount not for personal gain i might add just a few treats and bits n bobs for the remaining two.also on the lookout for some purse nets as mine are looking a bit worse for ware and the old man that used to make mine passed away some time ago if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

quick question, when should i attempt to investigate if they are in good health,my old jill which i had some years ago would let me handle her kits from day 1 and as she was the only ferret i ever bred from i have no experience with outhers.the jill i have now is calm enough and my old friend says she should be ok but i dont want to take any unecessary chances advice appreciated.

Leave her a week or so , i assume she is being moved from this chaps place to yours anyway , so i would let her settle in the new suroundings add the move to you poking around in the nest & it could just tip the ballance
