The tool to put them on is £7, all you want for less than £12 and keep you going for years. Quote Link to post
stubby 175 Posted August 24, 2008 Report Share Posted August 24, 2008 I managed to pick 12 grommets up at a country fayre, and you guessed it, when I got home saw that I needed 13, so looking around "wickes" yesterday, saw a pack of 6 cane ends, for £1.68 took a chance that they would fit, and they do they have slines inside, so they will fit different thickness poles, and being bright yellow, can be used to denote your first and last pole in the basket, and they have a large head, thus making them easy to push in so jack, get yaself down to wickes Quote Link to post
