runforyourlife 361
IF ITS ALL TO NACK HOW COME YOU SEE MASSIVE BULL GREYHOUNDS GETTING TORN UP ON A LAMPED FOX DIFFERENT SITUATION I NO BUT SAME PRINCIPAL AT THE END OF THE DAY A BULL GREY HAS MORE CHANCE OF DOING FOX THAN A COLLIE GREY SO TO SPEAK just because a bull greyhound is a bull greyhound , certainly doesnt mean it as * MORE* chance than a collie greyhound , not at all . , every lurcher with the heart , some tidy little whippety dogs have been known to take fox and deer ( PRE BAN) and no bull in the mix at all . theres some lads who swear on bull x s then again some on collie xs and wont touch anything else , its all what people's PREFFERD choices are . not just what the TREND is . well said Hpool hunter..... Whats all this MASSIVE buisness..... AAnd torn up buisness...... SA doing bullgrey will get scarred yes, but torn up, thats a bit of a broad comment! And how many bullgreys have you seen getting battered by charlie! 1 maybe 2 prehaps.... Fox can go down all most anything, they do it ever day, and where born to do it. A dog was shown in the growing period, they are two totally diffent kinds of earth animals! Quote Link to post

Guest ooty
IF ITS ALL TO NACK HOW COME YOU SEE MASSIVE BULL GREYHOUNDS GETTING TORN UP ON A LAMPED FOX DIFFERENT SITUATION I NO BUT SAME PRINCIPAL AT THE END OF THE DAY A BULL GREY HAS MORE CHANCE OF DOING FOX THAN A COLLIE GREY SO TO SPEAKi keep a massive bull g,hound and collie g,hounds.you dont see a massive bull greyhound torn up after lamping a fox.fact!! its all over quick as a shot with them.the speed they hit with and the power ov the 1st bite, mayby a quick shake and thats it .takes a bit more with the collie cos most dont have that quite the same stopping power ov the bull but the collie is a clever dog and if run on fox often develops its own knack for putting them away pritty sharp.its face to face underground where dogs get bit hard, depends what you want from your dog? you want one that goes bang underground then heavy bull blood is a safe bet,if you want a dog to work an earth and find your fox or bolt it then something a lighter and brighter is more likely to be ov use,i get stick for it but i use plummers to good efect(I like em!!) but the list is endless, patterdales seem to be most used these days.i had the smallest little fell once and she would find and stay to anything underground for as long as it took,as would my mums jack russals when i was a kid.
