mole catcher 1
only just re read this thread, sorry. to make a 2lb mix this is what i use as a BASE MIX. 3/4lb soya flour costs about 60p 3/4lb milk powder costs about 90p just under 1/2lb of semilina costs about 50p 4 good size table spoons of egg albumin (powered egg) costs about 30p 4 good sized eggs 1/8 pint of milk all your have to do then is add your flavours, you dont need to buy the expensive shop bought ones. look in places like bakers, tescos jst be willing to try differant things and give the fish time to get on to eating them. my best cheap allteritive is to make up the above mix but replace the semolina for ground up trout pellet, makes a very good fishmeal boilie. its all about trying things and as long as there safe for the fish wheres the harm? As for tiger nuts, well they have been the death of many a carp round this way because they wernt prepared properly and caused the fish to die, as did peanuts so be respecfull of the fish at all times. the ones I had good succes on in the past was home made chocolait and caramel cream with a hint of curry Quote Link to post
