All have their strengths and all have their weaknesses. The point is... if you hit it in the head it doesn't really matter what calibre you use. Quote Link to post

If you said that a .177 pellet is a claw hammer and .25 pellet is a sledgehammer, you'd probably agree that they're different tools for different jobs. When it comes to killing things what would be the difference to hitting something in the head with a claw hammer Vs a sledgehammer? Absolutely nothing. The result is the same.
