Rabbithunter 456
wont run my dogs on hard ground on the lamp. I will however run them during the day, now and again. But, like everything there is always a risk. If you decide to not do something because of what might happen..... well you wouldnt get up to much in life would you. Quote Link to post

bird 9,872
i run dogs all year round dont want to chance loosing my land to someone else When it gets to hot for the dog, get your self air rifle and leave the dog at home you can still take alot of daft rabbits, and keep the landowner happy. YOU doint want to feck is feet on hard now, you want the dog ready for sep. [ give it a break from game for a month] Dogs can get stale just give it plenty lead work, and when you are ready to start it will be like a new dog. BIRD Quote Link to post
