Still running dogs???

Do people still run there dogs through the summer months?? although my lurcher is not yet old enough to run probably i still get the calls to go sort out fox and rabbit with the guns

i run dogs all year round dont want to chance loosing my land to someone else

wont run my dogs on hard ground on the lamp. I will however run them during the day, now and again.

 

But, like everything there is always a risk.

 

If you decide to not do something because of what might happen..... well you wouldnt get up to much in life would you.

i take mine out on lamp 1ce a week just to keep them moving never lamp the same place twice tho dont want to ruin the population for myself in the winter months.

When it gets to hot for the dog, get your self air rifle and leave the dog at home you can still

take alot of daft rabbits, and keep the landowner happy. YOU doint want to feck is feet on hard

now, you want the dog ready for sep. [ give it a break from game for a month]

Dogs can get stale just give it plenty lead work, and when you are ready to start

it will be like a new dog.

i run my dog in the summer take the first rabbit for the pot. any after that i let them go again as my dog is very soft in the mouth. keeps me on the hill and keeps dog fit
