Guest Magwitch
I am really strugling with changing from air to powder. Richochet and back stops seem to be fore front in my mind ..... Will this pass?? That bit, mate? I sincerely hope not. A .22lr round cares not for back stops mate they will ricochet clean over but lose most of there energy when they make first contact. Still be careful where you shoot but don't worry too much that its interfering with your shooting. Quote Link to post
dickyboy 1
If you've got a music searcher listen to a speech/song by chritopher Howard Called Focus..............makes bloody good sense......as soon as you starting thinking i hope i don't miss this shot you are actually focusing on missing the shot not hitting the target..........this little speech has just brought me out of my last Fox fever.......last year i sot 122 foxes picked up with 6 misses this year i'm on 82 with about 30misses it was getting ridiculous!!! really makes sense though You can't think about what you don't want to think about without thinking about it!!! stillair1 16
Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. Start off with upperbody shots again to get your confidence back. Concentrate on the basics of marksmanship ie hold smooth trigger release and follow through. Sounds like your having a battle in your mind between is the shot safe, whilst trying to concentrate on delivering the shot. Get the safety assessment done and out of the way before you settle for the shot, but keep an eye out for wandering idiots. Quote Link to post
