A started motor sounds a bit on the heavy side and the battery drain would be considerable , the usual motor to use is a wiper motor, they are geared and less battery drain than a starter. ive made several magnets my current one being made from an old battery drill, use the trigger as the speed controler , made it lightweight for use with hypa flaps and quick fit together . pic shows with plastics mounted on it.
