tommy1967 47 Posted January 16, 2006 Report Share Posted January 16, 2006 (edited) WE WERE OUT YESTERDAY DOING A FEW EARTHS ;IT BLEW A GALE HERE AND TEAMED FROM THE HEAVENS THE NIGHT BEFORE SO WE NEW WE HAD A GOOD CHANCE OF SOME 1 HOME.DROVE 2 THE FARMERS YARD AT 9.30 HE CAME OUT 2 TELL ME HE D SEEN 4 FOXS RUNNING ABOUT ALL WEEK.SO FOR THE EARTHS AS WE HEADED OVER THE FEILDS THE STINK OF FOX WAS EVERY WHERE.CHECK THE FIRST COUPLE NO 1 HOME BUT TERRIER VERY EXCITING;HEADED FOR A SINGLE HOLER AND THE TERRIER TOOK OFF STRAIGHT 2 IT WE NEW WE WERE IN ;STOOD A LURCHER AT EACH SIDE OF THE DITCH TERRIER BAYING FLAT OUT I5 MINS GONE BY STILLTHE SAME SO MATE SCANNED WITH THE BOX GOT A MARK AT 4 FOOT;HE STARTED 2 DIG NEXT THING MATE DOWN AT THE BOTTOM OF DITCH WITH THE LURCHER SHOUTS FOX, THE FOX JUMPED UP TO MY SIDE I SLIPPED MY NORFOLK PUP HE TURNS IT 2WICE AND LIFTS IT. THEN MATE SHOUTS ANOTHER FOX IT JUMPS UP 2 MY SIDE 2 BUT GETS AWAY. WE HEAD ON 2 DO MORE EARTHS WE CUM TO 3 HOLER TERRIER IN AGAIN BAYING FLAT OUT WAIT FOR 20 MINS STILL THE SAME SO SCAN WITH BOX GET A MARK OF 3 FOOT START 2 DIG DOWN BREAK IN TO DOG AND FOX SLIP OTHER LURCHER TO DRAW HIM OUT AND ANOTHER 1 JUMPS OUT BHIND HIM THE OTHER LURCHER LIFTS HIM ACROSS THE FIELD. tommy1967 47 Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 well done tommy have yous got many to ground this season or would you take more from hunting cover i was talkin to a terrier lad the other day he said theve taken more foxes the last 2 years from hunting cover than digging them from the earths HELLO FRANKIE WE WULD KILL MOST FROM COVER BUT FROM SUM REASON THIS SEASON A LOT HAVE WENT 2 GROUND , BUT I THINK IT WAS 2 DO WAS RUNNING MY RUSSEL BITCH [bANNED TEXT] THE HOUNDS WE DUG AT LEAST 35 / 2 40 THAT WAY BUT EVERY 1 WAS KILLD [bANNED TEXT] LURCHERS . GOOD GOING TOMMY BOY ,YOUS HAVE HAD A GOOD SEASON ,I WAS WITH AN OLD FRIEND AT WEEKEND HE WAS TELLING ME THEY HAD 70 FOXS FROM START OF SEASON UNTIL NOW ,AND THAT WAS BEATING COVER AND LAMPING THEM ,GOOD GOING . YES BOOTS WAS THAT [bANNED TEXT] GUNS R LURCHERS IF WE HAD A USED GUNS WE WULD HAV KILLD MORE 4 ITS VERY HARD 4 THE LURCHERS 2 GET THEM ON THE ROUGH GROUND ,I HAV 81 TAILS UP 2 NOW THIS SEASON.
