Guest Name
Chatting on the phone with a mate today and we got into talking fishing, well as soon as the phone got hung up i was off to check and dust off my gear, going to do an over nighter at the weekend, i have not been at all this year, going through my bags i found some old pictures, so i thought i would share them with you... This fish was 23lb 2oz, caught of the top in hardwick at the Richworth-linear fisheries This 20lb fell for pop up corn in the margin. Its from a few year back, best weeks holiday i have ever had, will be back there as soon as work and money allows me to, aw and the mrs! had a lot of single figured fish to Hopfully get a few results at the weekend too! Hardwick lake, the one thats joined up to Smiths pool. I was told to try st Johns lake as it was my first time fishing the venue, apparently st Johns is a 20lb+ producing lake that is easier to fish than the others, but after having a quick walk around it was chocker full so found a good peg on the Hardwick which payed off in the end Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
cracking looking fish those, not long now till the seasn starts on the river for me. im off up the river tonight in the canoe to add yet more free bees. good those carp can eat, or is it the bream? Quote Link to post
Guest Name
The bream will be helping hoover the bed clean, but carp do their fare share of pigging out mate Have you any barbel in your stretch of swims? Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
sadly theres no known barbel in these rivers. up the road about an hour there is but thats a differant river all together, the two dont merge. these are the swims at sunset the other night whilst baiting up Edited June 12, 2008 by mole catcher Quote Link to post
