mackem 26,224
Mmm float line you say so if its not a parachute I must say you are a real trooper for not wanting to complain Stick it in the shed and one day i am sure you will find a use for it, funny how that happens isnt it It wont fit in the shed mate, chest freezers, waders, and a 100 yard seine-net in there I am just trying to work out why theres a line that sinks and one that floats, most odd,I will have a fiddle around with it next week when I have free time,I am sure it wont beat me Its ok FR,they might have done me but I normally come up smelling of roses Quote Link to post

fishy123 0
Mackem, where did you get your floatline and stuff from? Just interested to see if I can get a cheaper supplier. And BTW, what knot/lashing do you use to fix the net to the floatline and leadline? Cheers Edited June 13, 2008 by fishy123 Quote Link to post
mackem 26,224
Its actually a well known tackle-shop that advertises in "Sea Angler",there appears to have been a mix up with the shipment as it looks nothing whatsoever like what was ordered I normally use a goridan knot Edited June 13, 2008 by mackem Quote Link to post
fishy123 0
Quit teasing, what really is it. I assume by goridan you mean gordian knot? Quote Link to post
mackem 26,224
I did, most unlike me to make a spelling mistake fishy,as you well know, but its late,I worked all day and only had 2 hours sleep last night due to being out, yup, thats the one,the good old gordian knot, what the f**k is a goridan Quote Link to post
mackem 26,224
Goridan sounds like some sort of spicy vindaloo,do you think it would be a match for the old Tandoori-Nymph Quote Link to post
fishy123 0
Your spelling is normally excellent, as you said. Shame about the grammer though. I think goridan curry definately has to have some spinach in it. So what's the knot really? ATMO I'm using a reef knot and then applying a drop of epoxy which works nicely but a different method would be good as the epoxy is sticky and I've lost my syringe so I have to guess the mix. Maybe you could get some syringes thrown in next time one of your family tries exporting tea chests again? Quote Link to post
mackem 26,224
Syringe You got a habit Fishy?Epoxy?Glue is just as bad mate, you want to stay off that stuff Quote Link to post
fishy123 0
Aye, it's pretty hard to get off glue once you're caught. So, the knot is... Quote Link to post
