stubby 175
I thought I had a simular one in the court, looked like one front leg/paw was shorter than the other, on closer inspection though, it had a tick lodged between its toes, and therefore was "holding" the paw up, making it look smaller/shorter, on removing the tick, everything seems back to normal glad your giving the wee fella a chance, Quote Link to post

The one 8,511
The only problem i can see is the ferret will be walking on the ankle and that could get sore and inflamed . But saying that ive never heard of a three footed ferret before . Quote Link to post

Guest bigredbusa
i suppose it would be no different then a three legged dog , it would never work and only we be good as a pet . i dont know where i stand with this (excuse the pun) as i hope it will never be bred from . some pics of when it has grown and settled in would be nice tho . Kye 77
When i started line breeding my ferrets back home, after a few years, they started being born with no tails...just a "bob-tailed' ferret...the white ones looked like baby polar bears!..lol...they worked fine though. Quote Link to post
The one 8,511
Ive a bob tailed sandy here i just blamed the breeder being a clumsy barstool with a hutch that the lid lifted up on and he let it drop Quote Link to post
scothunter 12,609
That was her 1st litter and will be her last a few years, but do you reckon cz it was the size of the litter and if i ever breed her again will she maybe throw another deformed.Im saying deformed i havent a clue if it was born like that or the jill maybe did it.I only noticed it cpl days ago as i never look at kits till there 2weeks.
