Tumbleweed 1
When one of ours escaped we informed all the neighbours and took the others for walks in the area she'd been spotted by a local farmer (quite a way from the house too!) in the hope she'd pick up their scent. Eventually she came back on her own accord two weeks later. She had a tick and some fleas but other than that was in pretty good condition. She'd made no attempt to escape since... lol. Thanks again to all the sugestions Matt Last year I didn't block the drain holes up properly after cleaning my ferret run. Lost ferrets at 12 noon Tues. Put posters up around etc and looked around for about 4 hours. Midnight my hob was back in the run. Result! Kept looking and calling regularly for the next few days without luck and had given up hope for the jill so got a replacement from MT on the following Monday morning. Within 30 mins of putting her in the run the local RSPCA van turned up with a lady asking if I had lost a ferret! It was my jill who had been living at the back of an industrial unit in a rabbitty banking on the other side of a busy road about half a mile away! Good luck with yours. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
