just like to pint out that the phesents were not shot with a airrifle but given to us by a keeper whos farm we was shooting on,we could not say no and offend him,lol

using the rapid mk 2 at the moment,we do use the 17 shot as well when a mate comes down for a days sport, out of all airrifles i have always said i prefer the rapids, things go wrong with all guns at time to time but out of all brands of airrifles i say the rapid is by far the best, seals are always good on them and bottles ,and they are great guns to use, rapids get my vote but the s410 is a great gun to use as well and reminds me very much of a rapid when holding it,still trying to get photos up but got to resize them, lol, what rapid do you have mate?17 shot?

looks like it done the job :gunsmilie: all pcp guns mate if u screw it off straigth away the pressure of the air blows the seal so if u turn it a touch then blank fire it a few times then turn it a bit mroe and a few more fires eventually it will be empty just screw it off then iv gone thro shit loads of seals lol

Some nice pics there matey whats the black bird in the 3rd picture is that a coot or moorhen

its a moorhen mate, never shot one before although on a few of our shoots there plenty there,i only shot this to see what it tasted like, heard they dont taste to good and wanted to try it out,for anyone who does shoot one for the pot, best way to cook them is place in a pre heated oven, place a good size pebble inside the bird, once the bird has fully cooked, chuck the bird away and eat the pebble,it will taste alot better, lol, funnily enough we was out fly fishing today on a mates farm and the moorhens were within 20 yards of me,cant see the point really in shooting them as there no challenge, but if its shot for ferret food then fair enough, lol,or to eat if one can get used to the taste
