Hi mate i cant really speak from having the experience of owning a bull cross but i believe that every dog be it a lurcher, terrier or any other dog which is used for work has their own time frame of when they are ready to go,so i would give her a bit more time and let her develope as she is still young and a lot of people get eager to get them working especially if they are going out with people who have dogs that are working,I have a collie greyhound hancock bred and she did'nt take alot of work to get her going but collies are known for being intelligent anyway as you well know so i would'nt compare her to a collie cross anyway, hope this will be of some use and help to you and keep your mind on the right track.
