Magpie_Hunter 17
My opinion 1dog can not stand against a 225kg/496pound boar so thej hunt with several dogs yes and i now not all the boars are that big Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
My opinion is that a dog attacking a caged boar or puma is cruel and has nothing to do with hunting, thats baiting. I think quarry should be hunted in a natural environment. Why would anyone want their dog to be put in a cage with a puma???? It all adds up to a big vet bill and a small ego........... damashaman 1
I have seen the vid of the modern Dogo in the cage with the Cougar (unedited) and it 100% JIBBS Edited June 7, 2008 by damashaman Quote Link to post
FJager 0
MH it isn't about a Dogo versus a boar , it is hunting not a fight, the dog secures the boar for the hunter and it is dispatched humanely and ethically, I have a little experience in boar hunting and it is not from youtube, that video is NOT hunting and hopefully the link will be removed as it is just plain wrong, it maybe acceptable in Argentina but not in most other places, thank f#ck the Paras showed up at Goose Green. Apparently it's some sort of training pen used in Argentina. The quarry is hunted in a natural enviroment out there but I see where you're coming from mate. Quote Link to post

Yes mate totally agree. These dogs seem to have stacks of drive but baiting is a poor way to show it.... Quote Link to post
Magpie_Hunter 17
yes baiting is a poor way the natural environement is the best way so than has the puma also a change. i love the breed but not the way how thej let show . Quote Link to post
damashaman 1
They are not de clawed but they are domesticated cats, not wild. In the original on better quality video you can see bits being kicked off the dog by the cat's hind claws and landing on the floor, and afterwards the dog can hardly walk, I have the original. I have what sound's like a very similar video, and the dog get's roughed up big time but it certainly does'nt back off or jibb in any way. Quote Link to post
Little Butch 16
Wouldn't mind watching a video of a pack of Dogos Vs a Jaguar In the natural environment they must be one hell of a challenge. Butch Quote Link to post
Neil Cooney. 1
In some countrys they use cages to "train" their hunting dogs and thats why the best workers and dogmen in the world are over this side. Whats more worrying is a few videos after that one is "rothweiller fights pitbull in Ireland". It's two dogs playing !!!!!!! Quote Link to post
Dawn B 212
A Cat in a cage, WOW!! how thoroughly pathetic! Cat baiting, what next? Quote Link to post
