dogrun 2
If you know your dog, you will know when he is ready, and by asking the question you have answered yourself hope the dog does you proud. Edited June 8, 2008 by dogrun Quote Link to post

redrob... 0
hold him off untill the autumn at least, let him watch and listen to another dog working, then let him have alittle look in, if you try him now he may bump into a vixen with cubs, can you guarantee to do the whole job with a novice, or he may bump into summut else and then the shit could hit the fan, but its your dog and your time youve put in, Quote Link to post

higgins 75
fools always ask advice, then go against good advice,i've been a fool myself when i was inexperienced enough to ask for advice, then i made mistakes, let these fools who ask for advice make their mistakes for that is where their learning curve begins, after their disastrous mistakes, they will come back again to ask for some more advice, pity them for they know not the ways of the working animal hierarchy, and you will still always be willing to guide them!
