dogman541 0 Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) Ive got this samalian family living opposite me,in a 5 bed house that was built 10 months ago.this guy don,t work and why would he i am renting my house off an asian and have been told the electrics are illegal old and very dangerous by corgi registered electricians. so my mrs reported this to the council hoping we might get a break for once in our lives and have the chance to pay a fare rent for a decent home. the reply was we'll get on to your landlord asap and inform him of his responsabilitys as a landlord and that this is discracefull. so two months later our rent went up 50 pound a month which is killing us. after getting back in touch with the council they said they have notified the landlord of the requirements for renting propertys but if he chooses not to carry out the work they can't force him to. to top it all the mortgage on this house is being paid by us the taxpayer because he's on the sick. but the council agreed they can't do anything as we pay our rent to a socalled letting agent employed by landlords daughter. if i didn't have my kids i'd lose it completely. deap breathe deep breathe well thats what the doc said anyway, but he's fleecing the system aswell i bet.
