shooting pigeons

I used to go for head shots and watch these buggers fly off but now I aim for the back of the chest area. Straight down and no twitching.

I have to admit I dont like touching them once they are dead tho lol.

AIM FOR THE BACK OF THE CHEST AREA. good luck

Yep from a window - I have no choice as I dont have permissions and the birds wont land in the garden If im in it as no cover. I quite abit garden for a built up area tho. About 40 yards long

Im aiming for the top of the chest/back and hitting that area as I have practised on paper targets (of big birds)

a kills a kill...............agree with wats.......much cleaner with a head shot!!!

if your shooting downwards.........and hitting the point you are aiming for............your zero is out !!...........well it would be if you where shooting on the horizontal.

not trying to get on your back here, but you asked in the rimfire section, if you were to have a FAC, could you go ahead and shoot a deer,

well if you did, what would you do with it :hmm: , leave it where it lay's as "you dont like touching stuff when its dead"

your be telling us next you dont eat what you shoot

Forgive me if I'm wrong chaps but I've developed a bit of a nose for wrong un's, and I recon essexlad06 is a wrong un. I'm sure he's been on here before under different guises, asking the same dumb questions, trying to draw us out into making a stupid reply so he can post it on ALF or LACS.

Best ignored I think.
