dsr686 0
Hi, i have reared pheasants and partridges under gas for the past 10 years on our small shoot, We have been given a number of electric hens this year that we have checked out and repaired. The only thing i am worried about is how high should they be for the day old partridges. (we are only rearing partridges under the hens) Hope someone can help. this is my first post so hope i have done it right? Thanks Quote Link to post

Guest ragumup
Normally you look at the chicks themselves whether it pheasants or partridges and as long as they can touch the under side of the electric hen with their backs then thats the height Quote Link to post
