black ones

it,s been a couple of seasons since ive had a black rabbit in my nets when ive been out with the ferts.does anyone else pick them up regularly or occasionally or not at all.

 

 

seen less of that cream one at the end got it last weekend ( first of that color i caught) :drink:

they used to call them vicars round here and would always let them go, for as you said fear of getting bad luck.

 

personnally id let the black go thinking of it ,ive dispatched the sandys but dont no what it is with the black ive always said that i wouldnt knock it id have to let go thinking of supostition :thumbs:

Other way about i always take the funny coloured rabbits first as there the ones the farmers and greenkeepers see first

This area has populations with black, and populations with white around thier necks or front leg(s).

 

Sorry, but this is the only pic on my computer showing a blackun, was a walk around me farm last autumn, all shot with the air rifle. Good sport.

I got a new bit of permission near me, loads of rabbits and saw 2 black ones last night. Didnt shoot them, for some reason i wouldnt want to eat them?!? dont know why!

Shot about 10 incidentally and took for young ones for the pot.
