Guest knocavoeboy Posted January 15, 2006 Report Share Posted January 15, 2006 just wondering about this. any pictures i put up i edit them in paint to cover up identity even though the activiy is perfectly legal where i am. when a member puts up his picture he reveals his identity this combined with bits of info contained in various threads cud lead the powers that be or anti hunting scum to identify this individual for someting not legal. this could result in the seizure of his computer and then possibly lead to the other members through it including myself. i personally feel too much info is provided on this forum and though it is vetted and well moderated it could be as much use to to those opposed to hunting as those who love it. i think there should be no locations, no flags and any pictures put on that have not been modified to obscure identity should be removed by moderators, i dont live in an area where there is a ban but i feel it is inevitable as it is a crowd winner for scumbag politicians who would sell there granny for a handy salary or a few votes. this is just my opinion, and my sugggestions not sure of what legal requirement the moderators or site admin have but i think this could be a tighter run ship, anti hunting people i dislike as much as the next and i dont agree with their principles but that doesnt mean they are stupid or that they have not got more sophisticated computer expertise than among our ranks. just some thoughts i wanted to express to the rest of you to see what popular opinion is on this matter. If we posted on a website for making model planes.......... would we all hide our faces, i doubt it At the end of the day we're doing NOTHING wrong, & in my opinion hiding a face makes it looks as though you're ashamed of what you're doing I'm sure all of us have pictures we've taken BEFORE the ban......but there is NO law to say we can't post them after it............ also As in 'the bull cross dan' thread IF the dog is used for tracking down a wounded animal then whats the prob. Guest knocavoeboy Posted January 17, 2006 Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 (edited) an old relative of mine has a saying "what the eye doesnt see the heart doesnt grieve" its not about shame, its about being inconspicious in going about a way of life that is objected to by the majority of society. who is to say the next door neighbour is not an anti, or one of your work colleagues. peace to hunt with my dogs and ferrets and to fish until my legs cant carry me anymore is my main aspiration in life and being covert i feel is the best way to acheive this.
