Note to most................being a hunter dont mean you have to take pleasure in killing every fecking thing in site "I hope you get the b*stard" was a figure of speech. If you have a problem fox, deal with it. If it's not a problem, leave the fecker alone. I didn't say anywhere, that "All foxes are b*****ds and need wiping out," did I? I was referring to the fox in question, and if you come into my garden, and killed a load of my animals, you'd get called a lot more than a b*****d, no matter what your reasons were! Note to most................being a hunter dont mean you have to take pleasure in killing every fecking thing in site For people who profess to know a lot about hunting your rationalising this wrong.... a fox will kill indiscriminately without remorse or feeling regardless of whether or not its got cubs. It will continue to come back unless you take measures to stop it. I have seen foxes take young kittens when available and if I've got to weigh up the feelings of my kid against this sentimental rubbish of its only doing it to feed its cubs my kids feelings win everytime...good luck mate hope you get the bugger. I think keeping a couple of Bantams in the garden or an acre with 6 sheep and buying a livestock guardian dog would be slight overkill? They are usefull in Turkey, America and many other sparsley populated countries but redundent in the UK.......I've had chickens, geese and rabbits taken by foxes and I don't give them human emotion and take it personally, I just try and improve my protective measures and when neccersary the fox problem has been addressed . Guest ragumup Posted June 10, 2008 Report Share Posted June 10, 2008 When a fox kills a lot of birds/pets it not the foxes fault its actually the prey acting unnaturally IE not running away either because they are in a pen or because they are pets or young and see no danger in a fox having said that I'm a keeper so hope you kill the b*****d ! Being serious though get your self a electric fence in place as even if you catch the one there , therell be another to take its place sooner or later Also IMO cubs don't stave if you kill the vixen (unless very young) as foxes are survivors the dog fox will feed them or some times a subordinate vixen will already be helping raising them Quote Link to post Share on other sites
