i will tell you sometging i only learnt of recently. you don't want to feed to much pigeon and i wouldn't feed it to kits as it is so high in iron. for kits, it could be bad but i know you definately shouldn't feed your ferrets on it day in day out, every now and then is ok though.

Guest ferret
hi can anybody help has any body got too many pigeons they would like to sell i dont posess a gun and dont ferret out of season they are for my ferret kits and prepared to buy them and will travel cheers

have you thought of good old tinned dog food, also if you have a freezer buy yourself a box of day old frozen chicks,if you feed pigeon make sure you clean out the crop area of the bird before feeding, also liver in moderation, most people with ferrets will have airguns for simply what you shoot give to the ferrets,i have bred and worked wild polecats over thirty years they have eaten most things in the british countryside including trout i have caught, also omega rings which i have soaked overnight is a good alternative but make sure they have plenty of water, all the best......
