Guest Leveller
Fair enough mate, I've never heard of them they're not registered with mfha or in Baileys must be a private pack
foxhuntingmad 1
The Chipstable Hunt Country is about 6 mile wide by 5 miles high and sits south of Clatworthy Reservoir with Wiveliscombe on its east. The Country has been registered with the MFHA but was under Mr Michael Roffe-Silvesters name. He also hunted the Taunton Vale Harriers. Michael passed the Chipstable hounds to his son John to hunt and in 1996 he was killed in a car accident with his wife Kirsty. The Hounds were disbanded. The Chipstable Hunt Committee still manage the country but have no kennels or hounds. WIlliam Roffe-Silvester (Michaels nephew) hunts hounds in this country out of the Dulverton Farmers Kennels. My information comes from a book called 'A portrait of a Hunt- Mr Roffe-Silvesters Foxhounds' by Willy Poole.
